We enjoyed every moment...

Purple Indigo

allows you to truly immerse yourself in the beauty of the Wild Coast. If you want to enjoy the natural brilliance of the Wild Coast then Purple Indigo is the right place for you.

In season, this is a fisherman's paradise. We can offer our guests exclusive access to one of the best bank-side fishing spots on the river 'Kob Hole'. With prior notice, you can use our slipway to launch your boat and our jetty to offload.

The birdlife on the property is truly spectacular, with even the rare Cape Parrot as a regular visitor.

There are many things to do and experience in Port Saint Johns, which we can help organise if necessary, including:

  • Deep sea fishing

  • Dolphin and whale watching

  • Diving with sharks

  • Boat trips on the river

  • The sardine run from June-August

  • Hiking the wild coast

  • Experiencing the rich cultural history of this region

  • Birdwatching

If you want to enjoy the nightlife town is a short drive & the local backpackers are great venues to see some of the local musical talent.
